HERE'S TO A LONG WEEKEND!

HERE'S TO A LONG WEEKEND!

Any one else think May Day bank holiday was just yesterday? Where did May go? That being said, we are excited for the bank holiday weekend! "Please don't rain, please don't rain" I hear you silently chant.

Rain or shine, the 30Fifteen Team usually makes  plans to be around family, friends and socializing. Try not to forget about yourself this weekend too.
Here's five things you can do for by yourself or with others, that will top up your own energy and feel rejuvenated when you get back to work on Tuesday.

1). PICK UP A BOOK
Even if it's just for one chapter, go somewhere quiet and read a couple of pages. Drifting out of the real world to the fictional for a moment will ease stress levels and allow your body to restore

2). TAKE A WALK
Now this can be done with people too (whether it's raining or not). Just step outside and breathe. You don't need to go too far, just a walk around the block will do.  Walking for a while now, has been seen as mediative. Noticing your feet stride out, breathing in the fresh air can be very restoring. Try it, it works.

3). TAKE A BUBBLE BATH
We rush around all the time, filling our schedules to the limit, giving us very little time to be still. A bath is the perfect excuse to shut off the world, relax, rejuvenate and well, wash too!
Light some candles, play some soothing music or a good podcast and enjoy!

4). DANCE
Now this can be out in a club if that's your jam, put your glad rags on, grab some friends and move ya booty! Alternatively, play your fav song, and dance around the kitchen, living room and or bedroom! No cares, dance the entire song (or album) and notice the stress just release off your body!
5, 6, 7, 8.

5). LIGHT A CANDLE
The most simplest option on the list. While you're home just have it burn for a little while. According to some, having a candle lit will help absorb any negative energy that may accord within the room. I mean, it's worth a try, at the least, if it's scented, your room will smell good. Side note: Make sure you never leave a flame unattended- they can start fires.

Did we miss something you like to do to relax and feel rejuvenated on a bank holiday weekend?
