IN NEED OF A MINI 'PEP TALK' TO YOURSELF?

Anyone else wake up this morning with very little motivation for the week ahead?! 
We know it's a 4 day week- we 'should' be buzzing with energy, excited that Friday is a little closer than normal...Why aren't we?! Who knows...the moon, the weather, post long weekend blues? Whatever it is, our coffee is not strong enough for the day ahead! Instead on dwelling on the why's, here's some tools we used today to get our mindset a little more positive.

Count our blessings!
As cheesy as this sounds, it helps. Focusing on what you are grateful for brings in more of that into your life. So grab a pen and paper (or open your notes on your phone) and start listing what you are grateful for right now. Boom! Step one! 

Move your body!
"Exercise gives you endorphins, endorphins make you happy" We all know Ms Woods is correct. Making time for your self to increase your heart rate isn't always possible, so if you can't get to the class or the gym today, Do some jumping jacks or high knees before jumping in the shower. Shake off your bad mood! 

Make a list!
Feeling a little overwhelmed? Yes, you loved having the extra day off to enjoy time with friends or family, but it means you only have 4 days to get the 5 days worth of work done...First step- Breathe. Then make a list of all the things you need to get accomplished, tackle ONE at a time! Don't start a new task before the one you are on is completed! You'll feel the tension in your shoulders instantly release, we promise! 

Pep Talk!
Yes, we are aware you may think this is odd, but it's 2016! Talk to yourself, talk to the universe! Get that stuff out! You are so much stronger than you think you are, so much wiser than you think you are, so much more capable than you think you are! You are enough! You just as you are right now! Remind yourself all of this. Whatever head space you are in today! Encourage yourself that you can make this day whatever you want it to be! We believe in you!
