DON'T LET IDIOTS RUIN YOUR DAY!
Let me set the scene. It's December 21st and you feel like you're pretty organized for the holidays. You did a big online order beginning of the month where most things have arrived. Your mum is covered, your brother, your boyfriend... you've just got to get a couple more cards and a small presents for co workers etc. You see a gap in your schedule.. lets do it! You grab your purse and head to the high street.
One foot hits Regent Street, and you immediately regret it! People, everywhere: Lines, everywhere! My inner warrior taps in: "You've only got a couple of things to get, you can do this.
How did we make it through & finish our Christmas Shopping:

Easy as that. I took some deep breaths, I felt my lungs expand and deflate in the moment, and let any emotion/feeling release on my exhales.
2) LET GO OF THE EGO
I reminded myself that the sales assistants hate how busy it is as much as I do. They are trying the best they can and I am no higher than they are. My need is no greater than any others. (This one was easier said than done). We are all in this together.
Allowing the day to just flow. Taking any expectations away from the situation. I mean, it's already busier than I expected. I reminded myself I don't have to rush through this, if I don't get all the presents I wanted to this trip, I still have time. It's all going to be ok!
