FOR PETE'S SAKE, LET IT GO!
Ever lay in bed, awake at night, re-living that awkward conversation from three months ago? Or maybe you're ruminating on that bombed job interview from yesterday. Perhaps, you've recently suffered a nasty breakup. Whether it's simple insecurities or massive, life changing regrets keeping you up at night, let it go.
There are so many reasons to let go of the bad things from our past. The most obvious and broad reason being, it creates an inability to move forward. How can you expect yourself to progress into your future, if you are so heavily chained to your past? It's just not possible. The amount of anxiety that comes from fussing over negative, past events can drive a person crazy and ultimately scare them out of pursuing opportunity in the future.
Not to mention the stress. Stress is bad for the body. It can make your weight fluctuate, compromise your perfect complexion, and leave you feeling totally fatigued. It's also bad for the mind, and it can leave you feeling depressed. With all the stress in your present, it doesn't make sense to stress so hard over the past.
The truth is, unless you're Doc Brown or Marty McFly, you can't change the past, and even if you DID have a time traveling DeLorean, changing the past probably isn't the BEST idea. Instead, just let the past go. Don't FORGET about the past. After all, it's the very events that keep you up at night that have helped to mold you into the person you are today.
