TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOUR SATURDAY!
Everybody, including the 30Fifteen team, looks forward to the weekend for a billion different reasons, and we're going to show you how to take full advantage of your Saturday.
1) Sleep in!
Ah, not having to set an alarm! -One of the greatest parts of the weekend! It gives us non morning people a chance to catch up on that well deserved shut eye. Let's agree it feels AH-mazing to say the very least. Allowing yourself to naturally wake up and start your day will allow you feel refreshed and able to make the most your day! (Saturday has so many possibilities).
2) Squeeze in that morning workout.
There's nothing like an endorphin rush to get your Saturday started. Hit the courts for a game of tennis, or take a yoga class! (Psst. Check out our Youtube page for quick, at home yoga.)
3) Enjoy the summer sun.
Now that you're riding that endorphin high, get out of the house and enjoy your summer day! Whether you're tanning on the beach, taking the dogs to the park, or hosting a backyard BBQ, get out and make the most of it.
If you are looking up at the rain clouds currently surrounding London or at the soaking wet umbrella propped up at the front door, only daydreaming of the sun. Never, Fear- the sun will reappear (or at least we're with you, praying it will). The main goal is to get out of the house. So why not check out an art gallery, a new book store or grab a coffee with some friends or family.
4) Put the phone away!
Your weekend should be like a mini vacay, so put the phone away. Escape the drama and stress that social media and the internet can bring into your life. Allow yourself to really focus on relaxation. However, can't handle a full two days without the device? Schedule in an hour where you don't check your phone, you don't even touch it. Then, see how you feel.
5) End the day with some serious R & R.
If you're like the rest of us, during the week it's go -go -go. Barely enough time to fit in a workout let alone some serious downtime. Allow yourself a moment on your own today. Maybe you draw a bath- add some candles, maybe you write in your journal, watch a movie under a blanket fort or kick back on the couch with a glass of wine and your book. Whatever your chill out style might be, embrace it, and enjoy the present.
