FIND YOUR INNER PEACE ON INTERNATIONAL PEACE DAY!
It's International Peace Day, and the 30Fifteen team is celebrating by finding their inner peace. We have a short list of ways that you can find inner peace on this International Peace Day, too!
Instead of focusing on the negative things in life, focus on smiling more. When you're smiling and laughing, it releases happy chemicals in your brain, putting you in an even better mood. So, always look for the silver linings, place a smile on your face, and don't be afraid to poke fun at yourself.
A huge amount of stress in life comes from not knowing the answers. That's why you should always be learning, searching for those answers. It can help you find peace of mind and give you something to focus on over the negative moments.
Accept life for what it is.
We don't like to admit it, but there are a LOT of things in life that we have little or no control over. Stop worrying about those things. The stress is needless and takes away from your peace.
Get back to nature.
Go out for a hike. Head to the beach. Visit your local park. Take every opportunity you can to escape the hustle and bustle of day to day life and find peaceful quiet and recharge.
Live in the present.
This one is similar to accepting life for what it is. Live in the present by accepting the past. You can't go back and change it, so don't let it rule your thoughts and keep you distracted. Instead, focus on enjoying the present.
