GIVE YOUR TOAST A TWIST
Avocado and toast is a staple for the 30Fifteen team. It’s delicious, full of fiber and vitamins, and the perfect for those of us on the go. Check out these fun ways we give our toast a twist.
1) Add more protein!
Whether it’s a couple slices of turkey or a soft boiled egg, we like to add a bit of protein to keep us feeling full longer. Going vegan? Try some chopped nuts or some seeds. The nutty flavor pairs nicely with the avocado.
2) Throw in some dairy.
Fresh mozzarella or some cream cheese can make a great addition to avocado toast. Is it cheating if we use the chives and onion cream cheese for an added flavor boost?
3) Spice it up.
Red pepper flakes are a go to, but take a look in your spice cupboard, and experiment with what you’ve got! Just remember: while garlic can be totally delicious, you might want to pack a toothbrush.
4) Fruits and veg galore!
Veggies and fruit can add a ton of flavor to your morning routine. Tomatoes and arugula brings and added earthiness. Craving something sweeter? Try strawberries, coconut shavings, and a light drizzle of honey.
