TAKE A WALK AND BE MORE PRODUCTIVE
Seriously! Walking is a super effective way to stay active, and taking a walk during your lunch break just so happens to be today’s #activeApril tip. So, in celebration of that, we are going to share with you some of the wonderful benefits of taking a lunch hour walk.
1) Walking is healthy!
This is not news. Walking is good for the body, which is exactly why it is included in #activeApril. It gets the blood pumping and relieves muscle stiffness from sitting at your desk all day.
2) It boosts your mood.
If you read our recent 5 Fast Facts post about endorphins, you know that endorphins make you happy! And guess, what? Walking releases endorphins.
3) It makes you more productive.
Since your mood is already boosted, you’re probably feeling like you’re ready to take on the world. Better mood = increased productivity.
4) It adds to your social life.
Walking with your coworkers can help you be more social, make lasting friendships, and maybe even build important business connections.
With all those incredible benefits, it could be tempting to take off and walk through your entire lunch break, but don’t forget to eat! It is a lunch break after all. If you do decide to start walking during your lunch break, let Team 30Fifteen know how it goes. Have you experienced a more productive work life?
